A cold day in the woods with a dear friend of mine, that willingly participated in a little photo shoot, to enhance my skills as a portrait photographer. It was a great day with just the right light and a nice way of spending a little time together.
She photographs beautifully and they are a nice series of pictures.
However on a constructive level, I think that they could have been edited down to a smaller number of pics (6 at the most) because some are very similar and I get the feeling that you both ran out of poses…undoubtedly one of the most difficult aspects of photographing models. The best way to get around that, is to look at the work of other photographers – I’ll email you one…
Sorry, a little late getting back to you – I would have kept 1,3,6,7,8, 12, but it’s really a matter of preference since we all look for different things.
Wonderful series of portraits. Love the soft light and her natural beauty that make these photos so special. Portrait work is especially difficult and you did a great job. Read the above comment and it is wise advise, one that I can appreciate and follow myself.
That is a fabulous portrait! I love the silvery quality of your black and white treatment. The lighting and shallow depht of filed are excellent as well – great work!
sweet portraits! loved them!
